Specialty coffee is evaluated by certified coffee graders using the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards. Each coffee receives a score based on aroma, flavor, sweetness, acidity, body, balance, and overall quality.
Coffees scoring 80 points or higher are classified as Specialty Coffee.
